Amy Cunningham
(Gillian Holroyd)
Amy Cunningham is currently working as a Collaborative Systems specialist at Buckman Laboratories in Memphis. This is Amy’s first production at Playhouse 51, and is pleased to be playing such a “bewitching” role. She has performed in musicals, such as Grease and Return to the Forbidden Planet, in her hometown of Clarksville, TN and Johnson City, TN. Amy claims that Memphis has had a spell on her since she moved her to attend Graduate school five years ago, so she is no stranger to enchantment.

Carl E. Walters is an actor who as done several productions in and around the Millington area. Some of his past productions include The Turning of the Screw, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, and Barefoot in the Park.
Larry Geater
(Nicky Holroyd)
Larry Geater has traveled all the way from his home in the exotic land between the parkways, to appear with us in his stage debut. He is a jack of all trades whose hobbies include raising his beautiful, witty daughter Megan and weirding out the normals. He may also be seen ballroom dancing in the barrooms of the metropolis to our south.
Jane Lester
(Miss Holroyd)
It's been more years than she cares to remember since Jane Lester was on the stage, but she's happy to be back with the role of Queenie. Ever since donning cardboard wings and a tinsel halo at age 5, Jane has been in love with theatre. She has worked in Millington, at the University of Memphis, Arrow Rock Lyceum in Missouri, Red Balloon Players, Germantown Theatre and Circuit Playhouse. She has hosted several shows for talk radio, done voice work for local and national ads and was the voice of "Grammy Granny  on FM-100. In fact, her "day job" is Continuity Director/Copywriter for WMC AM/FM radio. (That means, she is in charge of putting the stuff people don't want to hear on the air (the commercials.) Some of her favorite roles were in : Uncle Vanya,The Firebugs, Blithe Spirit, The Firebugs, Blithe Spirit, Bullshot Crummond, The Dresser, Merry Wives of Windsor, The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky, and all the maids in School for Scandal. (Yes, all the maids.) She considers herself fortunate in having survived wearing a trash can over her head (a mask, it’s a long story) in The Oresteia Trilogy!
J. Allen Scott
(Sidney Redlitch)
Allen is a fairly established actor in the Mid South. His film Credits include: Forty Shades of Blue and Walk the Line. He has also been involved in stage productions at the Ruffin Theatre, including: Rebel without a Cause and It’s a Wonderful Life. Playing Sidney Redlitch is a new stretch for Allen.
Special Guest Star
Salem Wright
(Pyewacket)
Salem Wright joins Playhouse 51 as Gillian's familiar, Pyewacket. This is Salem's first foray into theatre, however, he tells us he has really enjoyed the experience and has a new dream...one of someday being cast as Rum Tum Tugger in a "Cats" revival. Salem is 3 years old and was welcomed to his family the week before Halloween. He lives in Atoka with his mother, Melissa; his sister Brittany and his brother, Garrett. His hobbies include lounging in sunny spots on the floor and chasing his tail. His message to his new fan following is, "No applause, just catnip." We're working on his ego issues.
Director
Danny Armitage
Danny Armitage is a Millington native, but only moved back when he married and was looking for a great place to live with his family. Danny's theatre experience is far reaching. His credits include: Love Letters at Playhouse 51; Bell, Book and Candle, Bus Stop and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Germantown Community Theater, Rumors, The Diviners, and La Moure North Dakota at Theater Memphis; and You Can't Take it With You, A Midsummer Nights Dream at Playhouse on the Square; Gift of the Magi, La Rounde, and The Dead Boat Show at Circuit. His credits include: Barefoot in The Park, The Subject Was Roses, A Case of Belonging, The Loveliest Afternoon of the Year and Clarence Darrow. "I would like to thank everyone in the community that has helped get Playhouse 51 started. I hope more people will come out for auditions or get involved in some capacity.
Assistant Director
Mackenzie Wilson
Mackenzie is very excited about her involvement in this production. She is fairly new to the world of theatre. She played "Mrs. Bennett  in the Ruffin Theatre's production of Pride & Prejudice in 2004. She feels that having a theatre group in Millington is a wonderful accomplishment and thanks the founders of Playhouse 51.
