Kim Bumprezze
(Betty Chumley)
Kim Bomprezzi, of Atoka, TN is married with 2 children, Chelsea 7 and Drew 4. Her husband, Chris is the Millington Community Bank president of Bancorp South. This is her first community production, but she has always loved drama. She has been a part of several musical productions at her church, Bartlett Hills Baptist. She would like to thank her husband for encouraging her to audition, her parents for always being there for her, and most important God for the blessings in her life.
Amber Harvey
(Myrtle Mae Simmons)
Amber Harvey is a 14 year old freshman at Munford High School. She is making her debut here at Playhouse 51. She has many talents such as singing, dancing, playing guitar, cheerleading, and acting. She would like to thank her family for all their support and is thrilled to be a part of this cast.
Rod Hutchinson
(Judge Omar Gaffney)
This is Rod’s first show with Playhouse 51 and his first time on stage in many years. After a forty- year career as a scenic carpenter and prop master for theater and movies Rod has settled on a little farm just a few miles away. He and his wife, artist Bates Corlieu live with a happy crew of mini horses, dogs, and cats. Their creative collaboration is named ‘Arcadia’. Rod continues his trade as scenery builder at Germantown Community Theatre.

Chris Moser is a 25-year-old writer. He graduated in August of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. In college, he was in the drama troupe “Gopherwood”. He starred in Bartlett Hills Baptist Church’s production of Journey to the Manger. I would like to thank Playhouse 51 for this adventure.
Susan Moses
(Ruth Kelly, R.N.)
This is Susan’s second onstage appearance at Playhouse 51. She made her debut as Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play. Susan has been busy backstage whenever she can help, including the Playhouse 51’s productions of On Golden Pond, A Party to Murder, Rumors, and The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever. “I am honored to be a part of this production and blessed to be working with so many talented people, thank-you all so very much.”

Bill Roraback has appeared in the Playhouse 51 productions of It’s a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play, and Goodbye Charlie. He made his directing debut for Playhouse 51 with Same Time Next Year. Bill is a retired Navy Submariner who first started performing in Greece and Germany in the early 1980’s. Married for 30 years with 2 children. After he retired from the Navy, he returned to the stage first as Uncle Teddy in Arsenic and Old Lace. He went on to perform in Ten Little Indians as Detective Blore, My Son is Crazy but Promising as Oysters Rockefeller, and to direct several one act plays that competed in the Georgia Theatre Conference Community Theatre division, winning that division in 2000 with No Fading Star, then competing with that play at the South East Theatre Conference.

Jane Lester has been with Playhouse 51 “almost” since its beginning and has directed It’s a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play and co-directed The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as well as performed in Bell, Book, and Candle; Odd Couple - The Female Version; and On Golden Pond. When not directing or acting, Jane is busy backstage wherever she can be of help or in the way, depending on your point of view. As our current Artistic Director, she encourages your suggestions on what plays you would like to see our group do in the future. Jane’s day job is Continuity Director with Citadel Broadcasting/Memphis Radio Group.
Barry Martin
(Duane Wilson)
Barry has been involved with Playhouse 51 since the beginning. He has run lights, sound, worked as a stagehand, and built sets. He assisted in directing Playhouse 51’s Everybody Loves Opal. Barry has also appeared in Playhouse 51’s Barefoot in the Park, The Odd Couple: Female Version, It’s a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play, Opal’s Million Dollar Duck and Rumors. He is very happy about how Playhouse 51 has grown since its beginning. Barry lives in Atoka with his wife Cindy, his daughter Bonnie and his two dogs, Ricky and Stinker.
Bill Roraback
Cary Vaughn

Cary has been active in productions for the past 20 years. He has performed in Music Man, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, The Boys Next Door, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, South Pacific, The Diviners, Oliver, The Fantastiks, and Animal Crackers. He has portrayed the role of Jesus in the Memphis Passion Play for the last 14 seasons. In 2004, 40 local actors took this musical to South America for two weeks of performances. Cary has directed Omega 7, as well as participated in acting workshops in the Southeast, New York, and Uruguay. In his spare time, he auditions for local commercials and industrials. Cary is excited to be a part of Playhouse 51, and he counts it a privilege to be associated with the cast, crew, and leadership of Harvey. Cary is the President/CEO of the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce.
Estes Hammons has directed high school plays and musicals for over 20 years; first at Rosemark Academy and presently at Lausanne Collegiate School. He has also been involved in directing shows for the Tipton Fine Arts Council for a number of years. This is first venture with Playhouse 51 as a director but has served as a lighting tech during previous shows. His resume of shows include West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Arsenic and Old Lace, A Few Good Men, and The Crucible. In his career he has worked on over seventy five productions during his theatre career. His has acted in The King and I and Camelot and has made a number of cameo appearances in other shows. He would like to thank the Board of Directors for this opportunity.

Teresa Yarwood
Teresa Yarwood has worked in theater for 40+ years. Some of her favorite roles have been murderers (A Party to Murder and A Murder is Announced), old, eccentric ladies (Everybody Loves Opal and Opal’s Million Dollar Duck), and of course, a witch (Wizard of Oz). Not only has she worked on the stage, but also she has worked behind the stage doing whatever is needed. She is passionate about community theater and wants everyone in the area to get involved.

This is Charlie’s first appearance on the PH51 stage, but he has been behind the scenes providing graphic services for many of our posters and programs. Charlie is a veteran of the local music scene as guitarist with numerous bands and recording artists. He appeared in TFAC productions of A Murder is Announced, Doctor Gorilla and Me, Steel Magnolias, and as Lancelot in Camelot.At Theaterworks in Memphis, he performed in Headset and Ransom of Red Chief. Many of these productions have been under the direction of Estes Hammons to whom Charlie is grateful for the opportunity to join in the fun at Playhouse 51.
