(Doc)
This is Rebecca’s 5th show with Playhouse 51. You may have seen her on stage as Mickey in The Odd Couple; The Female Version, Rosie in Opal’s Million Dollar Duck, Violet Bick in It’s A Wonderful Life (round 1), or as the pianist/singer hiding behind the piano in It’s a Wonderful Life (round 2). Although she has been away from the stage for a while, working in the technical department for the last several shows, she is very excited to be back on the stage once again. Rebecca would like to say a special thank you to: her mom and dad for helping out with so much during long rehearsals; Deborah Nelson, her high school theatre director, for not only planting the theatre seeds all those years ago but also for her continued support to this day; And finally to Jonathan whose patience with the cast, respect for their process, and skill as a director gave this cast the opportunity to more deeply explore each character and to continually grow as actors – thank you for reminding her of why she loves the stage so much.
